New South Welshman joined DJR alongside Brodie Kostecki
Rylan Gray will continue on with the Shell V-Power Racing Team in 2027, the Ford team has confirmed.
The rising star joined Dick Johnson Racing this season, partnering superstar Brodie Kostecki in a new line-up.
Gray, who won the 2025 DUNLOP Super2 Series with Tickford Racing, replaced two-time Bathurst 1000 winner Will Davison.
The New South Welshman has been formally confirmed for 2027, with DJR announcing the extension on social media.
“Locked and loaded: Excited to roll into 2027 with these boys in Car 17 and Car 38,” DJR posted.
Kostecki is signed on with DJR through 2030, having signed a multi-year extension late last year.
Gray will have a new co-driver for 2027, however, with veteran Tony D’Alberto announcing his retirement earlier this week.
The 19-year-old is the latest young gun to earn a contract extension in recent weeks, following Zach Bates' new Matt Stone Racing deal, and an extension with Blanchard Racing Team for Aaron Cameron.
