Matt Payne, Cam Waters to share front row

Championship leader Matt Payne will share the Race 23 front row with Ford rival Cam Waters, setting up a mouth-watering start to racing in Perth.
In a Boost Mobile Qualifying session punctuated by traffic and incidents, Payne emerged as the benchmark, with Thomas Randle and Ryan Wood forming a surprise second row.
The biggest scalps were Chaz Mostert, Will Brown and Broc Feeney, who filled positions 11 through 13. Brodie Kostecki, meanwhile, was demoted two spots after being penalised.
Jayden Ojeda, Jobe Stewart and Zach Bates were also penalised for impeding. Ojeda, Bates and Stewart had only qualified 20th, 23rd and 24th.
