Queenslander "not giving up anytime soon" after latest exit
Declan Fraser says his exit from PremiAir Racing "wasn’t my decision,” adding he is "extremely disappointed.”
Fraser’s first season with PremiAir has come to a premature end, with the Queenslander moved aside for Cooper Murray.
The odd man out is Fraser, who posted a statement to his social media.
"My time with PremiAir Racing has come to an early end,” the 2022 Super2 champion said.
“This wasn’t my decision.
“Naturally, I’m extremely disappointed with how things have unfolded, but I won’t let this decision take anything away from the work I’ve put in this year.
“I’m grateful to the people within the team who have genuinely supported me, and especially to my sponsors, family and everyone who continues to back my career.”
In the post, Fraser said he’s "not sure what’s next, but I’m not giving up anytime soon.”
The Mackay product returned to the full-time game in 2026 after two seasons co-driving for Brad Jones Racing, claiming a career-best seventh in the Bathurst 1000 with Andre Heimgartner last year.
He previously lost his Tickford Racing drive at the end of 2023 after the Ford team downsized from from a four-car operation.
