Chaz Mostert, Kai Allen impress on world stage at Daytona, Dubai
Allen races to seventh outright at Dubai 24H race overnight
Mostert's Mercedes-AMG on the pace during pre-Daytona 24 tests
Chaz Mostert and Kai Allen have joined Ryan Wood in kicking off their 2026 racing seasons overseas.
Teammate and reigning Supercars champion Mostert is currently in the United States preparing for the upcoming Rolex 24 at the world famous Daytona International Speedway.
Mostert spent the last three days driving in the three-day ‘Roar Before the 24’ test ahead of the 24 Hour race next weekend.
Two-time Bathurst 1000 winner Mostert is sharing the 75 Express Mercedes-AMG with IndyCar star Will Power, Mercedes-AMG star Maro Engel and two-time Bathurst 12 Hour winner Kenny Habul.

The #75 Mercedes set the fastest GTD Pro time of the Roar, giving hope to Mostert for a second class win in the Daytona event after winning with BMW in 2020.
Across to Dubai, Penrite Racing rising star Allen raced a Grove Racing/GetSpeed Mercedes-AMG to seventh in the 24H Dubai.
Allen, who finished fourth in his debut Supercars season last year, raced with father and son duo Stephen and Brenton Grove, and factory AMG drivers Jules Gounon and Chris Lulham.
The Grove/GetSpeed Mercedes ran sixth late on before dropping to seventh after a late pit stop. The car was hampered by gearbox trouble, and was seven laps down on the winning Team WRT BMW.
Mostert and Allen will contest the Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour on February 13-15. Mostert will share a Scott Taylor Motorsport AMG with Cam Waters and Thomas Randle, while Allen will race with Brenton Grove and Will Davison.
The 2026 Supercars season commences in Sydney on February 20-22.
