2025 bp Adelaide Grand Final delivers record economic benefit
Over $100 million delivered back to South Australian economy
285,700 people attended four-day event last year
The South Australian government has announced a record-breaking economic benefit from last year's bp Adelaide Grand Final.
The first event held under the Grand Final moniker proved to be a hit with fans, with an estimated crowd of 285,700 contributing $100.7 million to the South Australian economy.
It marks the first time that the Adelaide Supercars event has delivered more than $100 million back into the South Australian economy, helped by a 10% crowd increase year-on-year.
That sandwiches the 2025 Grand Final between last year's AFL Gather Round, which tipped $113.9m back into the economy, and Adelaide's LIV Golf event at $81.46m of economic benefit.
“Since we brought it back four years ago, this great event attracts more interstate and overseas visitors to South Australia every year,” said South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas.
“Our major events strategy is delivering a clear return for our economy, helping us to fund other important projects in areas including health and housing.”
“Visitors to these events are seeing what our great state has to offer and spending record amounts of money while they’re here.”
“We’re excited for another high energy event in 2026 with Guns N’ Roses headlining the Sunday concert.”
The bp Adelaide Grand Final will once again conclude the 2026 Repco Supercars Finals Series from November 27-30.
