2026 crowd the biggest in three years
Supercars has been welcomed back to the Top End in style, with the betr Darwin Triple Crown recording over 40,000 attendances for the 2026 event.
Tickford Racing star Cam Waters claimed the coveted betr Darwin Triple Crown after an entertaining weekend of racing at Hidden Valley Raceway.
Supercars raced on all three days for the first time, with Waters, Penrite Racing's Kai Allen and Team 18's Anton De Pasquale splitting the wins.
More than 40,000 attendances were recorded across the three-day event, marking the event's largest crowd in three years and reflecting the growing popularity of one of Australia's premier motorsport events.
Fans were also treated to the biggest on- and off-track entertainment program in the event's history, delivering an action-packed weekend for all ages.
Supporting categories included the Darwin debut of the DUNLOP Super2 Series, as well as Porsche Carrera Cup and Trans Am racing.
Off-track activations and experiences included Track to Town, the longest Night Transporter Convoy, Summernats Goes Top End drifting and burnouts, aerial stunt displays, and the first-ever Monster Truck Masters showcase.
Tourism and Events NT CEO Suzana Bishop said: “From racing to entertainment, the betr Darwin Triple Crown offers an incredible fan experience. With pit paddock access included in general admission three-day passes, fans can immerse themselves in the atmosphere and get closer to the action.
“We’re even more excited that next year we’ll introduce twilight and night racing, giving fans and visitors a whole new way to experience the betr Darwin Triple Crown."
Supercars Executive Chairman and Acting CEO, Barclay Nettlefold added: "What a sensational weekend in the Top End.

Looking ahead, the 2027 betr Darwin Triple Crown will become one of only two rounds on the Repco Supercars Championship calendar to feature twilight and night racing.
