MSR unveil stunning retro livery for Aaron Seton wildcard
Seton to run livery commemorating 1993 title winner of father Glenn
Illness for Cameron Crick saw Seton drafted in, already announced for Ipswich
Seton and #30. It's a title-winning combination that will return to the top flight of Australian touring car racing in Townsville.
Aaron Seton, son of two-time Australian Touring Car Champion Glenn Seton, is set to revive his father's iconic 1993 championship-winning livery on Matt Stone Racing's wildcard Chevrolet, running alongside full-time pairing Jack Le Brocq and Zach Bates.
The 1993 title was the first of two won by Glenn, and was the first title held under the five litre V8 formula that morphed into the current day Repco Supercars Championship. Aaron's grandfather, the late Barry 'Bo' Seton, won the 1965 Bathurst 500.
27-year-old Seton, whose Camaro sports primary backing from Superior Cranes, is a last-minute substitute for Cameron Crick, who opted to withdraw from the event with illness, instead electing on recovery ahead of the Ryco Enduro Cup, where he'll partner Le Brocq.
Seton was already confirmed to drive the third MSR Camaro at the Repco Sprint Cup finale in Ipswich in August.

"I've run the number #30 a lot through my career, which was always tied back to Dad and his racing," said Seton junior.
"To now get the opportunity to do a retro livery of his 1993 Championship winner is very special and something I'll cherish for a long time.
"I'm delighted with the way the livery has come up and very grateful to Lachie (Lachlan Stinson) and the team at Superior Cranes for making this possible."
Townsville has proven to be a happy hunting ground for Seton, who started from pole and finished third in the 2023 Super2 round at Reid Park, driving an ex-MSR Commodore.
“I’m looking forward to Townsville, I feel like I’m ready for it. It's quite a tough track, but it’s been good to me in the past. The last time I was there was in 2023 in Super2 and we managed to get pole and finish on the podium," Seton reflected.
Team owner Matt Stone added: "We're carrying some really strong momentum into Townsville and we're excited to be taking a three-car roster up to North Queensland with Aaron joining Jack and Zach for the weekend," Stone said.
"The No.30 Superior Cranes Racing Camaro looks fantastic. It's a great livery that does an awesome job of honouring an iconic piece of Australian motorsport history while giving it a modern Supercars twist.
"We can't wait to see it roll out onto the track and we're looking forward to seeing what Aaron can achieve in his first wildcard appearance of the season."
Seton has kept sharp in GT4 Australia alongside MSR co-owner Jason Gomersall, and will gain valuable miles before he pairs in the #10 Camaro with Bates at The Bend and Bathurst.
Seton will be joined by fellow wildcard Reuben Goodall in a 26-car field at Townsville, the young Super2 ace driving a third Tickford Mustang.
The 2026 NTI Townsville 500 will be held from July 10-12.
