Walkinshaw Andretti United has revealed its first 2025 Supercars livery, with Ryan Wood to carry Mobil 1 and Truck Assist colours for a second season.

The New Zealander will steer the #2 Mobil 1 Truck Assist Ford Mustang in the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship, which begins in Sydney next week.

Mobil 1 takes co-naming rights of both WAU cars, with the oil company returning for a 32nd season with the Melbourne squad.

The tweaked livery, which is again centred on the black and orange of Truck Assist, was brought to life through PPG, Signzone and Spicers.

The car also features backing from Morris, Chemical Guys, Ford Performance, Supercheap Auto, Corestaff, Kangan Institute, Move My Wheels, Palm Trans, Coates, Thetford, Lloyds Auctions, Anthem Workwear, Raceline Racewear, OMP, Authentic Collectables, Acronis, Think Technology, Oakley, Stratasys, TPF Sports, East Coast Lubes and Design Ears.

WAU also welcomes partners Loctite, Employment Hero, Under Armour and Niterra Australia.

“The Mobil 1 Truck Assist Mustang looks amazing, it’s a level up on last year’s design, I am super excited to hit the track in Sydney to show the black, orange and white rocket off under lights,” Wood said.

“It’s awesome to have the continued support of Mobil 1 and Truck Assist again this year, to be honest, every one of our partners was so supportive of me in my first year, you really feel like they always have your back which is a cool feeling as a driver.

"We’ve also got a heap of new partners on board this year, which is awesome, so I’m pumped to be able to represent them as well.

“It’s going to be a huge year, year two isn’t going to be any easier than year one so we’ve been putting in a heap of work to continue to move forward – we want some trophies this year that’s for sure.

“It’s been far too long since Adelaide, I’ve been annoying everyone in at work just wanting to drive the Mobil 1 Truck Assist Racing Mustang, so I’m counting down the days before the test and Round 1, can’t wait to get stuck in.”

WAU CEO Bruce Stewart said: “It’s awesome to finally have the Mobil 1 Truck Assist Racing out for everyone to see, we definitely heard the fans with the black base and their love of it, we’ve added some more colour, but importantly, it’s got our WAU DNA throughout.

“We are extremely lucky to have the support of our entire partner base, returning and new. Looking at this car, to see the Mobil 1 on the bonnet, their 32nd year with the team, is an amazing story of loyalty. The same goes for Truck Assist who have been wonderful, supporting partners of ours for a long time now, and then to see Morris, now entering their 15th year with the team in 2025 is incredible where that partnership has gone.

“We are all extremely excited to welcome Niterra Australia back to the fold, more on that one soon, but also Employment Hero, Loctite and Under Armour into our family. Without all of our partners, we simply wouldn’t be able to do what we do.

“This is going to be a really exciting year for Ryan, he has put in the work over the off season and will be a real contender from early on in the season. He had a really strong rookie season, he showed what he is capable of, but we all have to take another step forward again in 2025, fighting for podiums and race wins, which we all know Ryan is capable of. I’m really excited to see his progression this year, I just can’t wait to get it all underway and get back to business.”

Brad Phillips, Ampol General Manager - Business to Business, said: "We are incredibly proud to celebrate 32 years of technical collaboration with Walkinshaw Andretti United.

"Our partnership has always been built on a shared focus on innovation, performance, and an unwavering drive for victory. As we approach the 2025 Supercars Championship season, Mobil 1 is excited to continue supporting Walkinshaw Andretti United in their pursuit of greatness."

Jason Kibsgaard, NTI Head of Marketing, added: “NTI’s Truck Assist is excited to return for another year with Supercars and the Walkinshaw family, and to put our support behind Ryan Wood. With a year under his belt, we’re looking forward to seeing what he and the team deliver in 2025.

“The car looks phenomenal and is bound to look even better at speed. We’re proud to have our brand alongside other longstanding WAU partners – which is a real testament not only to the team performance on the track, but also off the track. We’re pumped and looking forward to doing all again for 2025.”

The new-look WAU Fords will roll out at the pre-season test day at Sydney Motorsport Park on February 19, and Thrifty Sydney 500 - Opening Round on February 21-23.
