Toyota Supra, Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro set for US voyage
New Toyota joins current Gen3 Supercars cars ahead of historic testing
Wind tunnel testing to be undertaken at Windshear facility in December
The next steps towards the 2026 Repco Supercars Championship are being taken, with three Gen3 Supercars set for their United States voyage.
Current Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro Gen3 Supercars were lined up alongside the new Toyota GR Supra ahead of upcoming wind tunnel testing.
In images supplied to Supercars.com, Supercars prepared an example of each model in Melbourne before they are dispatched for the US.
Wind tunnel testing will be undertaken at the Windshear facility in December.
Homologation teams Triple Eight Race Engineering (Ford), Team 18 (General Motors) and Walkinshaw Andretti United (Toyota) each prepared a car.

As seen in one of the images, Supercars is utilising a container allocated to incoming Toyota team Brad Jones Racing that was fitted out to take four cars to New Zealand earlier this year.
It comes after Triple Eight revealed its first Gen3 Mustang on Friday.
Triple Eight-build Fords raced on in Supercars after the team transitioned to Holden in 2010, with DJR ironically winning that year's championship in a car built by its arch-rivals.
However, the Mustang revealed will be the first Gen3-built Triple Eight Ford, the team having campaigned Camaros since the start of 2023.
Team 18 has prepared on of its spare Camaros, with WAU completing a second car amid on-track testing with the first Supra which was unveiled in Sydney earlier this month.

The Supra rolled out for its historic first tests at Winton Motor Raceway following the reveal.
The Supra will make on track appearances at coming events in 2025, beginning with the Repco Bathurst 1000 on October 9-12, where the car will also be on display.
The Supra will also feature in the post-match celebrations on the Melbourne Cricket Ground after Saturday’s AFL Grand Final.
It puts the new Supercar in front a major audience of over 100,000 fans in the ground, with the AFL Grand Final also one of the most watched broadcasts of the year in Australia.
Track action at the Repco Bathurst 1000 commences on Thursday October 9.
