Team 18 will continue with major backing from Stanley Black & Decker
Anton De Pasquale to continue with DEWALT colours in 2026
Team 18 will continue with major backing from Stanley Black & Decker into the 2026 and 2027 Supercars seasons.
The new deal will see DEWALT colours continue on the team’s #18 Chevrolet Camaro for the next two years.
It comes as Team 18 readies for its first full season as the new General Motors homologation team in Supercars, after taking over from Ford-bound Triple Eight.
The 2025 season was a breakout year for Team 18, with Anton De Pasquale reaching The Finals, and David Reynolds finishing second at Bathurst.
The Melbourne squad finished a best ever fifth in the teams’ championship, a year after finishing 10th in 2024.
The Mount Waverley-based squad will lead the Chevrolet alliance in 2026, having recently completed wind tunnel testing in the United States.
“Stanley Black & Decker has been part of Team 18’s journey for more than a decade now, and this extension means a great deal to everyone in our organisation,” team owner Charlie Schwerkolt said.
"To reach 12 years together speaks volumes about the strength of the relationship and the value we’ve built over that time.
“2025 was a breakthrough season for our team, and to have DEWALT and Stanley Black & Decker commit to the next phase of our story, especially as we step into the Chevrolet Racing homologation role, gives us enormous confidence heading into 2026 and beyond.”
Adrian Davis – Managing Director ANZ, Stanley Black & Decker, added: “Having just completed 10 years supporting Team 18, they have most certainly enjoyed their most successful season to date.
"Their performance and momentum on and off the track are a testament to why we’ve chosen to extend our partnership for a further two years.
“With Anton De Pasquale behind the wheel of the #18 DEWALT Chevrolet, this partnership provides a powerful platform to showcase two of our industry-leading brands in DEWALT and Cub Cadet, and we’re excited about what we can achieve together.”
De Pasquale will open the 2026 season with DEWALT colours in Sydney on February 20-22. David Reynolds will continue for a third season/
