The drivers championship picture changed dramatically at the Penrite Oil Sandown 500, setting the stage for the bp Adelaide Grand Final in just under a fortnight's time.
However, whilst two drivers bumped their way into the final four, there no change in the teams standings at Sandown, where Triple Eight secured their record-extending 13th teams' championship with four races remaining in the season.
The most notable battle within the teams' championship to keep an eye on for Adelaide is the battle for third between Tickford Racing and Walkinshaw Andretti United, with the pair separated by just 93 points.
The teams' points order at the end of the season will decide the pit lane order for the opening round of 2026 at the Sydney 500 in February, with WAU looking to put Toyota as far up the lane as they can for their highly anticipated debut.
The battle for sixth is even closer between Brad Jones Racing's lead pairing of Andre Heimgartner and Bryce Fullwood, and the Dick Johnson Racing Mustangs of Brodie Kostecki and Will Davison.
Both teams are separated by just 14 points entering the final round, with Team 18 just 165 points clear of the BJR duo in fifth.

The championship four, namely Broc Feeney, Chaz Mostert, Will Brown, and Kai Allen, are all set to be stationed within the top seven garages in the lane for the final three races of the season.
Red Bull Ampol Racing duo Brown and Feeney will occupy the first two garages in Adelaide, with Allen right behind in the first of the Penrite Racing garages. Mostert will be in garage seven.
WAU being stationed behind Tickford could potentially come at a disadvantage for Mostert, who finds himself in a position where both Penrite and Red Bull can react to any strategy plays as they happen.
The pit lane garage allocation will also expand by one in Adelaide, with NASCAR Cup Series star Austin Cindric to be stationed at the rear of the lane in a wildcard entry for Tickford.
