James Moffat confirms Tickford Racing departure
Moffat won 2018 Gold Coast 600, claimed two Bathurst podiums
Second-gen racer partnered Thomas Randle this season
James Moffat will depart Tickford Racing, marking the latest twist in the Supercars co-driver silly season.
Last month's Repco Bathurst 1000 was Moffat's final start with the Ford team, having signed on for the 2018 enduros after exiting Garry Rogers Motorsport.
The news continues what has been a rapidly evolving co-driver market, with Thomas Randle now set for his fifth different co-driver in as many years.
Between 2018 and 2025, Moffat finished on the Bathurst podium twice with Cam Waters, and won the Gold Coast 600 in 2018 with Chaz Mostert.
He finished ninth at The Bend and 11th at Mount Panorama with Randle earlier this year.

"After 8 years my time at @tickfordracing as an endurance Co Driver has come to an end," Moffat posted to social media.
"There have been some great memories with some great people in that period. GC600 win, 2 x Bathurst podiums and a Sandown 500 podium were amongst the highlights.
"Whilst we didn’t achieve the ultimate goal of winning the Bathurst 1000, I am proud of the work both on and off the track that was put in.
"Thank you to all the mechanics, engineers, tyre technicians, truck drivers, workshop crew, and management personnel for their tireless hard work and effort."
Moffat raced with Waters for four seasons, finishing second in the 2021 Bathurst 1000, and third in 2022. He crashed out in 2023, before racing to fourth in 2024.
He partnered Mostert in 2018 and 2019, before racing with Jack Le Brocq in 2020.
Tickford Autosport's leading drivers Rylan Gray and Lochie Dalton have already found new homes for 2026.
Super2 leader Gray has been picked up on a full-time deal by Dick Johnson Racing to replace Will Davison, while Erebus Motorsport signed Dalton to drive alongside Cooper Murray at The Bend and Bathurst.
