Jack Le Brocq to part ways with Erebus Motorsport at end of 2025
Le Brocq joined then champions Erebus in 2024 from Matt Stone Racing
Erebus likely to promote academy young gun to replace Le Brocq
Jack Le Brocq will part ways with Erebus Motorsport at the end of the 2025 season, the team has confirmed.
The Victorian joined Erebus at the start of the 2024 campaign from Matt Stone Racing, having led MSR to its first Supercars victory in Darwin.
Le Brocq signed on to replace Triple Eight-bound Will Brown, but found himself partnered by old MSR teammate Todd Hazelwood for the first two rounds in the absence of champion Brodie Kostecki.
The 33-year-old's time with Erebus is highlighted by a stunning pole at the 2024 NTI Townsville 500, with Le Brocq claiming five top five finishes since joining the team.
Le Brocq is now on the move, and has been heavily linked to a return to MSR, which has seen Cameron Hill (Brad Jones Racing) and Nick Percat (retirement) announce their exits in recent weeks. There are also vacancies at SCT Motorsport/Triple Eight and Blanchard Racing Team.
"Erebus Motorsport and Jack Le Brocq will part ways at the conclusion of the 2025 Supercars Championship season," an Erebus statement reads.
"Jack returned to the Erebus camp at the start of 2024 and his upbeat personality and positive presence in the garage has provided the team with consistency during a period of change and growth.
"Further announcements regarding our 2026 driver line-up will be made in due course."
In the statement, Erebus CEO Barry Ryan cast an eye to the future, but insisted the team and Le Brocq will look to close out 2025 on a high.
Erebus already has Cooper Murray locked in for 2026, with the team set to promote a young driver, namely Jobe Stewart or Jarrod Hughes, to the main game.
“Jack has been a valuable part of our team and we’ve all really enjoyed working with him. As we look ahead to 2026 and beyond, we’re excited about the next chapter for Erebus and the direction we’re heading,” Ryan said.
“But right now, our focus is on the job in front of us. We’ll keep racing hard and we’re committed to chasing results together with Jack right through to the end of the 2025 season.”
Le Brocq sits 16th in the standings, 99 points ahead of Murray, heading to this weekend's Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500. Tickets are on sale now.
