The second half of the 2025 Dunlop Super2 Series is set to begin at the Century Batteries Ipswich Super 440, and it's crunch time in the quest to topple Tickford Autosport.
With 900 points available across the remaining six races of the season at Ipswich, Bathurst, and Adelaide, time is running out for those who need to make moves to vault into a genuine title battle.
The last two rounds have been completely dominated by a rampant Tickford Autosport, who lock out the top four in the points standings, a first for any team in any tier of Supercars competition.
Whilst the battle to be crowned champion looks set to be fought out among Tickford's juniors, should they continue to take points off of one another, it could prove to play into the hands of an outsider if they get on a roll.
The Favourites: Gray, Goodall, Morris, Dalton

It's hard to see anyone stopping any of the Tickford Autosport quartet from adding to Cam Waters' 2015 Super2 crown in their former Prodrive Racing Australia guise.
Heading the charge is 18-year-old Rylan Gray, who has only finished off the podium once all year.
Gray has built a 54-point advantage over teammate Reuben Goodall, who has been arguably the most improved driver of the year, and another model of consistency following a quiet start in Sydney.
Nash Morris, a race winner in Tasmania, is 90 points off the lead in third, whilst Lochie Dalton had a perfect weekend in Townsville to soar into contention at 126 points behind.
Bathurst could throw a curveball into the fight, with Goodall the only driver of Tickford's four to not have a co-drive in the Repco Bathurst 1000, and not having to jump between Gen2 and Gen3 machinery.
The Outsiders: Walls, Bates, Burcher, Gomersall, Vaughan

Behind Tickford's top four lockout, the next group of five drivers is covered by just 48 points, and is led by top rookie Jackson Walls in fifth.
Another consistent driver, the Sydneysider is 195 points behind Gray, and needs to start winning if he's to vault up the order.
Eggleston Motorsport's best drivers are next in Zach Bates and Cody Burcher, with a disastrous Townsville seeing them fall to 210 and 213 points off the pace, and in need of a big turnaround.
Ben Gomersall and Brad Vaughan have also shown glimpses of speed in their Triple Eight and Brad Jones Racing Commodores this year, but need to start converting more frequently at 225 and 243 points adrift.
The Long Shots: McLeod, Stewart, Sinni

Despite all having race winning pedigree, 2025 has not panned out the way Cameron McLeod, Jobe Stewart, and Jordyn Sinni would've wanted.
After dominating the opening race of the season, McLeod hasn't finished any higher than fourth, and a mechanical DNF in Townsville sees him 267 points off the pace entering the second half of the season.
A race winner last year, Erebus prodigy Jobe Stewart has struggled along with the wider Image Racing/Erebus alliance in 2025.
After being tangled up in a race-ending incident in Tasmania, the former Super3 champion seemed to rediscover form in Townsville, but is 273 points off the lead.
Round 1 winner Jordyn Sinni has had zero luck since his Sydney breakthrough, with constant power steering gremlins in Tasmania followed by his engine throwing a belt in Townsville.
Having led the standings to start the year, Sinni is now 12th, some 282 points behind Gray.
Round 4 of the 2025 Dunlop Super2 Series takes place at the Century Batteries Ipswich Super 440 from August 8-10. Tickets are on sale now.
