Modern Formula 1 machinery will add to the spectacle at this year’s Supercars finale, the bp Adelaide Grand Final.
Confirmed Tuesday, a series of Red Bull F1 demonstration sessions have been added to the schedule to celebrate 40 years since the first F1 Australian Grand Prix at the venue.
The Adelaide Parklands first hosted the Grand Prix in 1985, before it moved to Melbourne in 1996.
For the announcement at the Adelaide Parklands Circuit on Tuesday, Red Bull Ampol Racing sat a Chevrolet Camaro Supercar alongside an RB16 show car.
The F1 car will also be on display in the pit lane, alongside Supercars teams.
The November appearance will be the latest visit to Australia for Red Bull's F1 demo team, following a spectacular run at Mount Panorama at the 2023 Bathurst 12 Hour.
“We are stoked to have Oracle Red Bull Racing here at the bp Adelaide Grand Final in a win for South Australian, interstate and international motorsport fans,” Mark Warren, South Australian Motor Sport Board CEO, said.
“Between the all-important Repco Supercars Championship title-deciding drama in its exciting new format, Oracle Red Bull Racing’s Formula 1 car will do justice to the quality design, history and lifelong fans of the Adelaide Street Circuit.
“Formula 1 is the pinnacle of motorsport internationally and it is guaranteed to be a memorable experience amongst our packed entertainment schedule and high-speed engines both on and off the track.”
Tickets for all remaining Supercars events in 2025 are on sale now.
