Engineer, manager shake-up for Dick Johnson Racing in Adelaide
Will Davison to be engineered by Ed Williams, who oversaw 2023 wildcard
Tom Moore slots into Team Manager role for bp Adelaide Grand Final
The Shell V-Power Racing Team has made some key personnel changes ahead of the final round of the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship.
Will Davison’s final round with Dick Johnson Racing comes with a new race engineer, following an intra-team shift for the Adelaide weekend.
Tom Moore will shift into the Team Manager role this weekend, having previously engineered Davison since Round 1.
Moore’s role will be filled by Ed Williams, who previously worked in a performance and engine role. Mark Fenning, who sat in the Team Manager role this year, will assist with both changes.
It’s a first Race Engineer appearance for Williams since 2023, when he led the team's Bathurst wildcard, driven by Simona De Silvestro and Kai Allen.
The change is the latest shake-up for DJR, which will farewell Davison and CEO David Noble after the weekend.
Noble’s departure was confirmed by the Ford squad after the Penrite Oil Sandown 500. A global search is underway for a replacement.
Super2 title favourite Rylan Gray will replace Davison next season, with 2023 Supercars champion Brodie Kostecki signing a bumper extension through 2030.
It continues a line of late-season changes up and down pit lane, with Matt Stone Racing and Erebus Motorsport making engineer personnel changes for Sandown.
Oli Boone stepped up on Nick Percat’s MSR Camaro, while Aidan Graham engineered Jack Le Brocq’s Erebus entry, allowing CEO Barry Ryan to focus on his management role.
Track action in Adelaide commences on Thursday afternoon.
