Dick Johnson Racing, CEO David Noble to part ways
Former AFL coach, administrator joined DJR ahead of 2023
Noble to step down, DJR launches global search for new CEO
Dick Johnson Racing is set for a major leadership change, with CEO David Noble to depart the team at the end of the 2025 Supercars season.
Former AFL football coach and administrator Noble joined the Shell V-Power Racing Team before the start of the 2023 season.
Under Noble, DJR has won three races, with star recruit Brodie Kostecki also qualifying for the 2025 Repco Supercars Finals Series.
Noble was also at the helm as the team transitioned to Gen3, took over the Ford engine supply agreement and oversaw parity reviews and revisions.
DJR is currently handing over Ford homologation and engine supplier duties to Triple Eight.

In a team statement, DJR said Noble will not renew his contract with the team, and "new opportunities" have opened up.
It comes after Ford rival Penrite Racing announced David Cauchi will leave his Team Principal post at season's end.
“I came into motorsport with a background in sport and football administration with a focus on high performance. It's been exciting adopting those principles and practices in the high-octane world of Supercars,” Noble said.
“New opportunities have opened up for me which I need to explore, and the time is right with the team wrapping up its homologation team and engine supplier responsibilities.
"We have positioned the team for sustainable success in the coming years, where DJR can look forward and simply focus on going racing.
"I want to thank the team owners, staff, partners and passionate supporters for their openness and inclusiveness over my time with the team. I wish the team all the best and am grateful for the friendships and experience.”
Before Supercars, Noble spent a decade at the Adelaide Crows, serving as assistant coach, list manager and head of football. He then shifted to the Lions as its General Manager of Football, and oversaw the club’s return to finals football. A move to North Melbourne followed, with Noble coaching the team in 2021 and 2022.
DJR majority owner Brett Ralph added: "David came in during a period of significant change and has left us in a far stronger position than when he arrived.
“He's set the foundations for what comes next and we're incredibly grateful. He's accomplished a lot in that time and navigated us through some significant challenges, always with a view of the bigger picture. We wish him every success for what's next.”
The 2025 Repco Supercars Finals Series resumes at this weekend's Penrite Oil Sandown 500.
