Supercars drivers delivered to new homes after season finale
James Courtney wheeled off to Team 18, James Golding to BRT
Nick Percat replacing Le Brocq at Matt Stone Racing
Supercars teams have kept with a funny tradition, delivering drivers to their new homes.
A wild silly season has seen several changes; notably, James Courtney retired, and has been replaced by outgoing PremiAir Racing driver James Golding.
Jack Le Brocq is returning to Matt Stone Racing, and Cameron Hill is leaving MSR for Brad Jones Racing.
Straight after Sunday's bp Adelaide Grand Final, Courtney saluted fans on pit straight with a beer, before he was taped to a trolley by BRT mechanics and wheeled off to Team 18.
There, Courtney was welcomed into open arms by Team 18 owner Charlie Schwerkolt, who signed the 2010 Supercars champion to a co-drive deal.

“It's time. It’s two decades in the top Australian motorsport category. Given the stress that it puts your family under, it's time to pull that in," Courtney told Supercars.com pre-event.
When asked if he was totally at peace with his decision, he smiled: "I'm not questioning and thinking, 'should have I done another one at all?’
"I'm really content with the decision. I ideally wouldn't have let the cat out the bag as early as what I did, but it's been great."
Golding was also wrestled down by PremiAir Racing mechanics in the paddock. Despite his resistance and gentle ribbing from Courtney, Golding was wheeled down to BRT, where he jokingly burst out of the tape.
Courtney was one of three drivers to end their full-time careers on Sunday, with Nick Percat and Will Davison also departing the Supercars arena.
Drivers will test with their new teams in February before the season-opening Sydney 500 on February 20-22. Tickets for 2026 Repco Supercars Championship events are on sale now.
