Triple Eight Race Engineering has locked down its driver line-up to the end of the decade, with Will Brown and Broc Feeney signing three-year extensions.
Outside Triple Eight, Tickford Racing is the only team to secure its line-up beyond next season, with Cam Waters and Thomas Randle signing on until the end of 2027. Last year, Nick Percat also signed a contract extension with Matt Stone Racing, also through the end of 2027.
Many teams remain tight-lipped on contract lengths, instead announcing 'long-term' and 'multi-year' deals for drivers.
Penrite Racing (Matt Payne, Kai Allen), Walkinshaw Andretti United (Chaz Mostert, Ryan Wood) and Dick Johnson Racing (Brodie Kostecki, Will Davison) will remain unchanged into 2026.
Andre Heimgartner (Brad Jones Racing), Anton De Pasquale (Team 18) and Cooper Murray (Erebus Motorsport) are also locked in for next season.
Penrite Racing, WAU and DJR haven't specified contract lengths. However, it's believed Payne and Allen are locked in beyond 2026. Payne inked a "long-term partnership" at the end of 2023, while Allen committed to a “long-term” deal last August.
Wood signed a “multi-year” extension last August, with Mostert signing a “long-term” deal in October 2023. Kostecki and Davison are known to be signed with DJR into 2026, but the team also hasn't publicly specified contract lengths.
The current silly season is ramping up; Cameron Hill (Matt Stone Racing), Jack Le Brocq (Erebus Motorsport), David Reynolds (Team 18) and Bryce Fullwood (Brad Jones Racing) are all coming off contract at the end of the current season.
Current speculation suggests Macauley Jones and Jaxon Evans will go around again with BJR, with team owner Jones all but confirming Macauley will return next season. Fullwood recently admitted he has "no idea" what will happen for 2026, as did Reynolds. Hill has recently been linked to Fullwood's spot at the team, which will swap Chevrolet for Toyota next year.
There are also questions over what PremiAir Racing will look like next season. James Golding and Richie Stanaway are currently with PremiAir, which hasn't publicly outlined the details of their contracts, although Stanaway is believed to have signed a two-year deal. It's unclear whether both drivers will remain for 2026, amid a poor run of form this season.
There will certainly be new deals at Blanchard Racing Team, which will farewell the retiring James Courtney at season's end. Aaron Cameron replaced Aaron Love after Round 1, but the team is in no rush to confirm its 2026 line-up.
