UPDATE 3, 1430hrs Saturday 12th October 2013

Further Matters arising from Race 1:

Following a Stewards Hearing, the Stewards found Sam Walter Car #43 in breach of the rule Schedule B - Careless driving, causing contact to Car #28 Morgan Haber at Turn 1, and imposed the penalty of a deduction of 35 Series points.

Following an investigation and an admission by Michael Hector Car #60 he had driven in a careless manner re-entering the track, the Stewards imposed the penalty of a deduction of 25 Series points.

Following an investigation and an admission by Image Racing Car #49 had breached D20.2.1, having a camera fitted without the CTM approval, the Stewards imposed a fine of $5,000 with $4,500 suspended until the 31st December 2013. 

UPDATE 2, 0700hrs Saturday 12th October 2013

Matters arising from Race 1:

The Stewards imposed a PLP on Car #67 Paul Morris for a careless re-entry to the track.

Following an investigation and an admission by Action Racing Car #71 had breached D20.2.1, having a camera fitted without the CTM approval, the Stewards imposed a fine of $5,000 with $4,500 suspended until the 31st December 2013.

Following an investigation and an admission by Aaron McGill Car #75 had breached B3.2.3, failure to ensure a fully functioning camera, the Stewards imposed a fine of $5,000 with $4,500 suspended until the 31st December 2013.

The IO is investigating the following matters;

  • Contact between Car #43 Sam Walter and Car #28 Morgan Haber at Turn 1

  • Image Racing, allege breach of D20.2.1

Matters arising from Qualifying:

  • For causing a Red Flag in the session, Michael Hector Car #60, lost its fastest time and took no further part in the session. 

UPDATE 1, 1800hrs Thursday 10th October 2013

Matters arising from Practice 2:

Andre Heimgartner Car #64, was fined $350 by the Stewards for exceeding the Pit Lane speed limit (47kph).

Matters arising from Practice 1:

Following an investigation and admission by Adam Willis in that he had breached Schedule D3, 2.3 by passing the Chequered Flag twice, the Stewards imposed a fine of $1,000 with $500 being suspended until the 31st December 2013.

Morgan Haber Car #28, was fined $500 by the Stewards for breaching Schedule 2 Para 6 (b) crossing the Pit Entry blend line during the session.
