Reynolds to carry TRADIE Beer backing in 2024
2017 Bathurst winner arrives from Penrite Racing
Team 18 has uncovered star recruit David Reynolds’ new-look #20 TRADIE Beer Racing Chevrolet Camaro, which will hit the track for the first time this week.
Reynolds, the 2017 Bathurst winner, has joined Team 18 after a stellar end to the 2023 season, highlighted by his first win in five years.
The Albury-born driver finished on the podium in the final four races with Penrite Racing, headlined by a stirring victory on the streets of the Gold Coast.
Reynolds’ multi-year deal with Team 18 was announced last August, with TRADIE Beer announced as the primary backer early in the new year.
The emerging Australian owned and brewed beer will carry naming rights on Reynolds’ car for the full 2024 season, complete with white, orange and yellow livery.
The livery was created by designer Nick Moss and brought to life by PPG paint and vinyl partner Metamark, alongside Team 18 Livery Technician and Visual Manager Mitch Croke.
The new-look Camaro will hit the track at Winton Motor Raceway for pre-season testing on Wednesday February 7, before the season commences at the Thrifty Bathurst 500.
TRADIE Beer debuted on a Supercar last year, on Declan Fraser’s #56 Ford Mustang. Come 2024, and TRADIE Beer colours are on a Camaro, with the livery a representation of the brand’s popular Zero Carb Lager. Bluestar Global Logistics have also teamed up with Reynolds for the 2024 season.
The livery was revealed at TRADIE Beer’s brewery, with Reynolds starring in an online video alongside Team 18 owner Charlie Schwerkolt and new Team Principal Adrian Burgess.
The #20 TRADIE Beer Racing Chevrolet Camaro will also be backed by Toyota Forklifts, East Coast Car Rentals, CEIL Batteries, Kenworth Trucks, Barry Bourke Motors, Jet Support Services, Taubmans, AC Delco, Waverley Forklifts, Credence Insurance, Ozwide Joinery, D2N Technology Solutions, Moto National, Style Print, Mechanix Wear, The Cover Shop, Alpinestars, Authentic Collectables, Southern Impact, Air & Allied Sales, Bowden’s Own Premium Car Care Products, Bluestar Global Logistics, APEX Steel, Topps Products, Tree Clean Up Services, Jax Tyres & Auto and Wash It Australia.

"The colours are going to pop on track and stand out amongst the pack, and I just can’t wait to drive the car and see how fast we are.
“I'm really looking forward to the year, it's going to be fantastic and I'm very excited to have TRADIE as our main partner.
“I think the TRADIE Beer brand is a great match for my own. We’re all about a larrikin character and fun times. We've got some awesome partners as well backing that and all the feedback received so far has been overwhelmingly positive. It is very cool that we get to launch the car at this awesome brewery, it's just a win-win.
“I’m so thrilled to join Team 18. I've worked with some of the guys before, especially Mark Winterbottom. Last time we worked together, we finished third and first in the championship. Some of the other guys I've also known for many years from previous teams.
“Every time I walk into the workshop, I get this huge burst of energy and I walk away with a big smile on my face. I'm excited to see what we can mould together for the year.”
The livery reveal comes after Team 18 announced it has signed Dr Geoffrey Slater, formerly of PremiAir Racing, as its Technical Director. Som Sharma has also been confirmed as Winterbottom's new race engineer.
Ben Goodfellow, TRADIE Beer Founder and CEO, added: "I couldn't be prouder to see our TRADIE Beer branding and the colours of our Zero Carb Lager splashed over David Reynolds’ Camaro for 2024.
“It was fantastic to see it in the flesh at the brewery and I’m pumped to see what Dave and the team can achieve this year.
“Partnering up with legends like Team 18 and our mates at Bluestar Global Logistics, we're looking forward to cracking open a cold one and supporting TRADIE Beer Racing and David Reynolds tearing up the track this year."
Schwerkolt said: "We're thrilled to unveil David Reynolds’ TRADIE Beer Racing Camaro for the 2024 Repco Supercars Championship.
“Partnering with TRADIE Beer alongside Bluestar Global Logistics marks an exciting new chapter for Team 18. David Reynolds is a fantastic addition to our lineup, and with the support of our returning and new partners, we're ready to give it everything we’ve got this year.
“We’ve made some key performance recruitments in the off-season with the likes of Adrian Burgess and Geoff Slater coming onboard. Their wealth of experience and expertise will help lift the team to a new level this year and we couldn’t be more excited to go racing.”
The new-look Camaro will hit the track at Winton Motor Raceway for pre-season testing on Wednesday February 7, before the season commences at the Thrifty Bathurst 500.
