Andre Heimgartner, Anton De Pasquale and Cameron Waters each joined the 2021 winners' list at the OTR SuperSprint.
It was a weekend for Mustangs to fire, with the Blue Oval claiming three ARMOR ALL Pole Positions and race wins.
After every round in 2021, the Supercars.com team will assess every driver’s performance and then score them out of 10.
Which driver ranked highest in Tasmania?
Which driver ranked highest at Sandown?
Which driver ranked highest in Bathurst?
The five scores are then averaged out to produce a race score.
With an eye on the Winton SuperSprint, Supercars.com has rounded up the key performers from the return to Tailem Bend.
1) Anton De Pasquale
Race 9: 3rd
Race 10: 1st
Race 11: DNF
Score: 8.8
De Pasquale scored a podium, a win and two poles. Had he not suffered an engine misfire in the finale, he could have secured an almost-perfect weekend.
=2) Andre Heimgartner
Race 9: 1st
Race 10: 7th
Race 11: 10th
Score: 8.6
Heimgartner's Saturday was flawless, aside from the pit lane infringement. He returned on Sunday with pace, and while he didn't convert, his Race 9 win proved he can be a force.
=2) Cameron Waters
Race 9: 4th
Race 10: DNF
Race 11: 1st
Score: 8.6
He recovered from an off to finish fourth on Saturday, and was taken out on the opening lap in Race 10. In Race 11, we saw the best of Waters, who gave van Gisbergen little chance.
=4) Shane van Gisbergen
Race 9: 7th
Race 10: 3rd
Race 11: 2nd
Score: 8.4
He didn't win on a weekend for the first time, but was ultra-consistent and took home the biggest weekend points haul, extending his series lead.
=4) Will Davison
Race 9: 8th
Race 10: 2nd
Race 11: 3rd
Score: 8.4
Eighth on Saturday was disappointing, but two podiums on Sunday proved that Davison and his team have the smarts to turn it around. All that's missing is a win, and it seems it's just around the corner.
=6) Nick Percat
Race 9: 5th
Race 10: 17th
Race 11: 6th
Score: 8.0
Percat's Saturday performance was brilliant, the Brad Jones Racing driver vaulting from 26th and last to fifth. He was turned around in Race 10's first-lap drama, but overcame a fuel flow issue to score another top 10 in the finale.
=6) Chaz Mostert
Race 9: 2nd
Race 10: DNF
Race 11: 5th
Score: 7.8
He said he had a "crap" weekend, but solid finishes of second and fifth sandwiched his Race 10 DNF, which was a result of reacting to the Tim Slade-Heimgartner skirmish.
8) Brodie Kostecki
Race 9: 9th
Race 10: 5th
Race 11: 11th
Score: 7.4
The Erebus Motorsport rookie recovered from a tough Tasmania weekend to score two top 10s, retaining his top 10 position in the standings.
=9) Thomas Randle
Race 9: 17th
Race 10: 8th
Race 11: 15th
Score: 7.2
Randle overachieved, scoring a brilliant eighth in just his fourth solo main game start.
=9) Scott Pye
Race 9: 13th
Race 10: 10th
Race 11: 9th
Score: 7.2
Pye flew under the radar at The Bend, bringing home a ninth and 10th to close on the top 10 in the standings.
