Tickford Racing has announced Elly Morrow will make her final Super2 start in Adelaide, with the Victorian to shift towards her family business.

Morrow joined Tickford Racing alongside Super3 champion Brad Vaughan for the 2023 Dunlop Series.

It came after she completed a stint with Brad Jones Racing, which included her Super2 debut at the end of 2021.

Morrow and Vaughan formed Tickford’s expanded Super2 line-up, which is running under the Tickord Autosport banner.

The 24-year-old is 14th in the Super2 standings, with a best finish of 11th coming at the NTI Townsville 500.

In a team release issued after the Repco Bathurst 1000, Tickford says Morrow has taken the decision to immerse herself more in the family business.

She will, however, continue to have involvement in karting and young driver development behind the scenes.

Tickford Racing CEO and Team Principal Tim Edwards paid tribute to his outgoing driver, saying the team is now on the lookout for a 2024 replacement.

"Elly has made a significant improvement in the five rounds so far this year and there is an extremely high level of competition in that Super2 category right now,” Edwards said.

“The whole team joins me in thanking Elly, she’s got a great sense of humour and has been a delight to have as part of the team.

“The team will now be on the lookout for the next young talent we can bring on board for our Super2 program for 2024 through our Tickford Autosport program.”

The 2023 Dunlop Series will conclude at the VAILO Adelaide 500 on November 23-26.
