Lowndes Bathurst 12 Hour livery uncovered
Scott Taylor Motorsport has revealed its LIQUI MOLY Bathurst 12 Hour, which will support the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.
The STM Mercedes-AMG entry will be led by Craig Lowndes at the February 3-5 event.
Lowndes will be joined in the #222 car by Taylor, Alex Davison and Geoff Emery.
The car will carry STM's regular green and black colours, along with major signage for the PCFA.
The rear wing of the car will also carry the #GetChecked hashtag, which will encourage people to join the conversation across the weekend.
Lowndes, Taylor, Davison and Emery won their class in the 2022 race aboard a Porsche.
The quartet will will step up to the Pro-Am class behind the wheel of Taylor’s Mercedes AMG GT3.
The team, will again be run by Ash Seward Motorsport, which ran the PCFA-backed Porsche in 2022.
On the whole, the entry is aiming to raise awareness of prostate cancer.
Around 24,000 Australian men are diagnosed each year with prostate cancer, and over 3500 will die from the disease.
Fundraising will include donation points at the event, at the Town to Track activation on Thursday prior to the race and via online portals.
Last year's campaign raised more than $67,000 for the PCFA before, during and after the 2022 event.
“I am excited to be heading back to Mount Panorama with good mates for a great cause,” two-time 12 Hour winner Lowndes said.
"Prostate Cancer has unfortunately impacted my family.
"So running a car in support of PCFA is a chance for us to have the conversation about getting checked, raising funds and having a red hot go at the podium."
