As it happened: Thrifty Newcastle 500

The 2023 Repco Supercars Championship got underway with the season-opening Thrifty Newcastle 500.

All 25 brand-new Gen3 cars were put to the test at the 2.6km street circuit across three big days of action.

The Thrifty Newcastle 500 was headlined by two 95-lap, 250km races on Saturday and Sunday.

Supercars was also supported by the Dunlop Series, Touring Car Masters and Aussie Racing Cars.
