Ford's win, championship twist: Townsville podcast

Another race weekend means another episode of the Schick Cool Down Lap podcast, and this time it’s the NTI Townsville 500.

The 2023 Repco Supercars Championship returned to North Queensland and to long distance racing.

The two races produced two different winners from two different teams, with Ford breaking through courtesy of Anton De Pasquale.

This week’s podcast sees hosts, Supercars.com reporters Chad Neylon and James Pavey, dive into pit lane immediately after Race 17.

Neylon and Pavey cover a range of incidents and storylines from the weekend's action, as well as casting an eye to the next round in Sydney.

Notably, we hear from race winners De Pasquale and Will Brown, who left Townsville as the championship leader.

Brown leads Erebus Motorsport teammate Brodie Kostecki by seven points, with Broc Feeney 26 points down in third.
