Erebus Motorsport has today unveiled a striking new livery for Will Davison's #9 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG as part of a major title rights partnership with leading renewable energy provider Solar Australia.
Debuting at this weekend's sydney.com SuperTest weekend at Sydney Motorsport Park, Solar Australia branding will feature on the doors, bonnet, roof, rear wing, rear bar and in-car camera of Davison's #9 car in a landmark agreement between the company and Erebus Motorsport.
The eye-catching new silver Solar Australia livery forms part of the Newcastle-based company's first large-scale brand activation since its beginnings in 2006 and its first sponsorship agreement within V8 Supercars.
New Erebus Motorsport pilot Ash Walsh will debut a similar silver livery for this weekend's V8 SuperTest. The livery features Infants Friend and AUSblue branding on the windscreen banners as well as Repsol branding on the rear quarter.
Erebus Motorsport CEO Ryan Maddison said it was both exciting and rewarding for the team to become a significant part of Solar Australia's first major brand activation.
"We are very satisfied to be partnering with Solar Australia in what is an exciting time for the company,'' said Maddison.
"It's pleasing that Solar Australia has recognised the exposure that Erebus Motorsport provides to its partners through V8 Supercars...We are excited about forming a major part of Solar Australia's brand activation which will bring significant opportunities both on and off the track.''
The Board of Solar Australia said securing the title rights partnership with Erebus Motorsport was a landmark occasion for the company.
"We are passionate about motorsport in Australia and we see this partnership as a strong platform to take the Solar Australia brand to a new audience on a national stage,'' said the Board of Solar Australia.
"Solar Australia has been a growing business since its beginnings in 2006 and this activation is a major step towards continuing that growth throughout Australia.''
