ENZED, one of Australia’s leading mobile hose and fittings services, has stepped up its support of Cameron Waters to become the naming rights sponsor of Waters’ Ford Performance Racing (FPR) V8 Supercar in the 2014 Dunlop Series.

Waters’ #56 FG Falcon will be entered under Team ENZED FPR and wear a striking livery incorporating ENZED’s corporate colours of black, white, red and gold and the familiar ENZED cornerband and hose motif. Long-time supporter Linde Material Handling will continue its association with Waters as a prominent secondary sponsor.

The announcement marks ENZED’s first naming rights sponsorship of a V8 Supercar in the modern era, and continues its long history in Australian motorsport, which began in 1986 with sponsorship of touring car legend Larry Perkins.

This year has the potential to be career-defining for Waters as he joins FPR – one of the greatest teams in Australian motorsport and reigning Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 Champions – which last contested the Dunlop Series in 2012, when current Pepsi Max Crew FPR driver Chaz Mostert finished third having won four races. Mostert has since become a race winner in the V8 Supercars Championship and his progression is one Waters is determined to replicate.

Waters completed his first full season in the Dunlop Series in 2013, finishing 10th for Minda Motorsport. In 2014, Waters and FPR are collectively aiming for nothing less than to win the Dunlop Series for the first time.

“I am totally pumped for this season and ready to make the most of the incredible opportunity I have before me. Racing for FPR in the Dunlop Series with the full backing of ENZED is a dream come true and I will be going all out to give FPR its first ever Dunlop Series title this year,” Waters said.

“I am proud to be an ENZED ambassador and really look forward to continue working with ENZED on great initiatives such as the HOSE DOCTOR® recruitment program.”

ENZED Advisory Council Chairman Jeff Maurice said, "The ENZED Franchise Network is extremely pleased to continue to support Cameron Waters in 2014. Cameron’s progression to a top class team with FPR is clear evidence of his driving skill and performance to date. ENZED is proud to be a part of Cameron’s future and we wish him every success in this year's Dunlop Series."

ENZED’s increased involvement with Waters coincides with its recently announced naming rights sponsorship of the Touring Car Masters Series and continued support of World Series Sprintcars. Waters is also currently the face of ENZED’s HOSE DOCTOR® campaign.

The 2014 Dunlop Series kicks off at the Clipsal 500 Adelaide on February 27 to March 2. The Dunlop Series is on track from Thursday, with tickets to the larger-than-life event available now.
