Breaking news for race six – Fabian Coulthard stripped of his Shootout time, admitting he failed to use the Track at all times during the Shootout.

Mark Winterbottom now starts second, next to Jamie Whincup on the front row. 

Race will start shortly with fine conditions. 

L1 Jamie Whincup first off the line but goes straight ahead at the first chicane - needs to pit for new front left tyre.

L2 Winterbottom in the lead, with Scott McLaughlin, Alex Premat, Jason Bright and Craig Lowndes top five. After the penalty, Coulthard is up to p8 (from 10). 

L5 Alex Premat false start - 10sec will be added. 

L6 - Jamie Whincup black flagged for exceeding pitlane speed limit. 

L12 Winterbottom rear left tyre destroyed, was leading the race and McLaughlin moves first.  

Safety Car has been deployed and picks up the leading driver, Kiwi McLaughlin. Debris on circuit. 

Winterbottom's car damaged, currently in pitlane being repaired.

L16 and we're back. GRM cars 1-2, though Premat will have a 10 sec penalty. 

L18 - just over half way through the 35-lap race - and top six is McLaughlin, Premat (with penalty to come), Bright, Tander, Lowndes. Van Gisbergen and Coulthard just behind. 

Mark Winterbottom under investigation for spinning wheels in pitlane. 

L22 Premat in garage. 

L26 FPR Team Principal Tim Edwards believes there's no issue with Winterbottom's wheels. 

L29 Tander off the road, drops behind Coulthard. Battle for third and fourth strong between Lowndes and Van Gisbergen. 

L30 - 0.7 sec gap, with McLaughlin leading Bright, Lowndes, Van Gisbergen, Coulthard. Potential tyre issue for Will Davison.  

L34 - One to go, can McLaughlin hold off Bright? 

FINAL LAP - McLaughlin will become the youngest ever winner at 19, if he holds on. Todd Kelly did it at 20 years. 

McLaughlin crosses the line in first, followed by Bright, Lowndes, Van Gisbergen, Coulthard, Tander, Will Davison, Reynolds, Courtney, Webb.
