Boost Mobile has officially extended its partnership with the Repco Supercars Championship for another two years, which includes naming rights to one of Supercars marquee events, the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500.

This exciting partnership will see Boost Mobile continue as the naming rights sponsor of the event, with the aim of making it bigger and better than ever before.

Boost Mobile Founder Peter Adderton said: "We are excited to announce our two-year partnership with Supercars and continuing as the naming rights sponsor of the Boost Mobile 500 on the Gold Coast.

"The feedback we received from Supercars fans and our customers has been incredible, so now we have to raise the bar again to make the event better.

"We want to find new ways to engage the fans and we'll continue to set the bar for one of Australia's premier street races.

"We want to see the Boost Mobile racing car on the grid in 2023 and will continue working towards that goal.

"We have been supporting Supercars and Australian motorsport for over 20 years; we love the sport and we look forward to making the GC Boost 500 bigger and better."

Supercars CEO Shane Howard said: "Boost Mobile's partnership with Supercars has been a long-standing one, and it is exciting to see this partnership continue for the next two years.

"The Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 brought in a record crowd of over 200,000 fans in 2022 and we are very pleased that Boost Mobile will continue its naming rights support of this event over coming years."

In addition to supporting many Supercars teams, Boost Mobile has also directly supported numerous Supercars drivers, including 2010 Supercars champion James Courtney.

"I'm so excited that Boost Mobile is backing the Gold Coast 500 for two more years," Courtney said.

"Last year's event was insane and it's awesome to have them supporting Supercars and my home race in this way. Can't wait for October."

Australian professional surfer and Olympian Sally Fitzgibbons shared her excitement for the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500, saying: "The GC 500 is such an iconic stop on the Supercars calendar. Bringing together Aussie’s two great loves of motorsport and our golden beaches makes for one of the most incredible spectacles and amazing events in the world.

"The entertainment is next level all weekend and there is truly something for everyone in the family to immerse themselves in. I love coming in from an early surf and then heading over to the track for a full day of action with my Boost Mobile family.

"I’m already revving my engine ready for the big show to roll back into town and cheer on team Boost Mobile."

Brodie Kostecki from Coca-Cola Racing added: "It's awesome to see Boost Mobile continuing to bring the party back to Gold Coast for the next two years.

"Last year was absolutely unreal and I know they plan to raise the bar for 2023 and beyond. I can't wait to see what they have planned for October."

The Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 is set to take place on October 27-29, 2023, and with Boost Mobile's continued support and commitment to making the event better every year, fans can expect an unforgettable experience.
