Australian courier and freight company Allied Express have inked a partnership with Supercars through to the end of 2020.

The deal will commence effective immediately, in time for the three-part PIRTEK Enduro Cup at Bathurst, Gold Coast and Sandown and the season finale at Newcastle.

With a history of sponsorship in the AFL and NRL, Allied Express managing director Michelle McDowell was delighted to come onboard with Australasia’s top motorsport category.

“Allied Express is excited to be partnering with Supercars and participating in the 2019/2020 events program,” McDowell said.

“It’s a great opportunity to showcase our company and brand throughout Australia given the reach of Supercars major events.

“At Allied Express we pride ourselves on our association with Australian professional and non-professional sports.

“We have a long history of sporting sponsorship which began on wheels, commencing in 1978 with the sponsorship of the Bankstown Paceway Billy Cart Championships.

“The Supercars sponsorship is the right fit for us – Supercars and transport go hand-in-hand. Let the Battle of Bathurst begin.”

Supercars general manager (commercial) Jamie Black added: “To have Allied Express on board supporting our major events over the back end of 2019 and again in 2020 is great news for our sport.”

The next stop on the calendar is the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000, running across October 10-13.
