McLeod promoting this weekend’s Gold Coast Car Show
Rising star Cameron McLeod has helped launch a four-wheeled event of a different kind on the Gold Coast.
The Super2 race winner and Matt Stone Racing recruit kicked off this weekend’s Gold Coast Car Show with a special stunt.
The Gold Coast Car Show, set for July 26-27, comes just days before McLeod returns to the Dunlop Super2 Series at the Century Batteries Ipswich Super 440.
Both events will draw thousands of fans to Queensland’s south east over the coming two weeks, and are both supported by Repco and Tourism and Events Queensland.

McLeod watched on as fellow 20-year-old Cassius Stevenson jumped his Tassie Devil Monster Truck at Mudgeeraba Showground, where the car show is taking place this weekend.
McLeod sits 10th in DS2 standings in his Stroud Homes Kelly Racing Ford Mustang heading into the 4th round of the series in Ipswich.
After Ipswich, the youngster turns all attention to co-driving duties for the Enduro Cup events at The Bend and Bathurst 1000, where this year he is teamed up with race winner Cameron Hill.
Hill sits 11th in the Repco Supercars Championship standings.
Tickets to the Century Batteries Ipswich Super440 are available through Supercars.com
All Supercars events are free for kids under 12.
