Supercars revises Super2 Series parity
Holden ZB Commodore to receive rear wing upgrade
Penultimate round of 2026 season to be held at Sandown
Supercars have confirmed that there will be a parity update made to the Holden ZB Commodore in the DUNLOP Super2 Series.
Investigations into parity in the DUNLOP Super2 Series commenced amid a dominant campaign for the Ford Mustang, with only one Holden inside the top six in points.
Ahead of the penultimate round at the Penrite Oil Sandown 500, Supercars sent a note to teams advising of a small change to the rear boot lid gurney of the Commodore.
The note details that Supercars have been investigating parity of the Holden Commodore across the last few rounds after it triggered parity on several occasions. This was using the old parity formula that was applicable to this generation of car.
The change has been determined after the analysis of data, runway test results and a physical test this week.
Brad Jones Racing's Brad Vaughan won the most recent race of the Super2 season at Bathurst in a Commodore, and currently sits second in points behind the Blanchard Racing Team's Lochie Dalton.
Aaron Love also secured the round win at Perth in an Eggleston Holden, and returns for his second of two rounds in an 18-car field for Sandown. Round 5 of the 2026 DUNLOP Super2 Series will be held from November 6-8.
