Zak Best has revealed his new look for 2023, with the Tickford junior to race an ex-DJR Team Penske Mustang for Anderson Motorsport.

Best will continue with Tickford Racing this year in the main game enduros, and is also set to make wildcard starts.

He has shifted to Anderson Motorsport for the Dunlop Series, having finished second for Tickford in 2022.

The Victorian will steer chassis DJRTP05, which was most recently raced by Fabian Coulthard in 2020.

Best will carry Best Leisure Industries branding, as well as backing from Chess Moving Australia and Kenwood Homes.

The Benalla driver will be engineer by former CoolDrive Racing Team Manager Brendan Hogan.

Best also finished second overall in the 2021 Super2 Series.

"I've decided to rip the lid off and have another dip at the Super2 championship this year with Anderson Motorsport,” he recently posted to social media.

“Can’t wait to get stuck in and lick the stamp, bring on 2023."

Practice 1 at the Thrifty Newcastle 500 starts at 10:10am local time.

Super2 and Super3 drivers will tackle dual 21-lap races across Saturday and Sunday.

Tickets are on sale on Supercars.com and Ticketek.com.
