The Battery World Aussie Racing Cars Super Series has confirmed an exciting calendar for the 2024 season, starting at the mecca of local motorsport – Mount Panorama, Bathurst – and concluding at the fan favourite Gold Coast 500.

Following an exciting 2023 campaign ending in Osborn’s Transport driver Joel Heinrich sealing the title, next year’s Battery World Aussie Racing Cars Super Series will make its return to Bathurst as the category opens its season at the famous mountain.

Forming part of the Bathurst SuperFest, the Battery World Aussie Racing Cars Super Series will thrill fans during this spectacular event, opening the Repco Supercars Championship season on February 23-25.

Continuing its role as a support to the Australian Superbike Championship, the series heads to Queensland Raceway on April 26-28 before rejoining the Supercars at Wanneroo Raceway, Perth on May 17-19.

Once again, the Battery World Aussie Racing Cars Super Series returns to support the NTI Townsville 500 on July 5-7 and does likewise at the NED Whisky Tasmania SuperSprint at Symmons Plains near Launceston on August 16-18.

In an exciting return, the Battery World Aussie Racing Cars Super Series supports the Australian Superbike Championship for a second time in 2024 at Phillip Island on September 7-8. The fast-flowing nature of the Victorian circuit is sure to bring out the best of what the category has to offer.

The season finale for the seven-round series will be at the highly-attended Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 on October 25-27.

In what was an incredible 2023 season, expect more of the same in 2024 due as field sizes are predicted to expand and the racing will be just as hard fought.

The opening round of the 2024 Battery World Aussie Racing Car Super Series is at the Thrifty Bathurst 500 on February 23-25.

"We are pleased to reveal the 2024 Battery World Aussie Racing Cars Super Series calendar, featuring a mix of big events and amazing circuits," said Brad Ward, Battery World Aussie Racing Cars Super Series General Manager.

"Our competitors love going to Bathurst, and to kick off our season at the new Bathurst SuperFest alongside the Repco Supercars has been really well received.

"We're also going back to Phillip Island and the Gold Coast, and again, these are competitor favourite events, so we feel we have the right mix for another season of competitive racing at a cost-effective level.

"There are quite a few new competitors and cars coming on line for 2024, so we're looking forward to kicking it all off at Mount Panorama."

“We are ecstatic to see the Battery World Aussie Racing Cars will be racing at seven terrific events in 2024 across four separate states and territories, including three stops in our home state of Queensland,” added Johnny Kennedy, Battery World Australia General Manager.

“We are in for another thrilling year of racing as we start the 2024 series off with a bang at the Bathurst 500 and bookending the year with the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500.

“Our long-term commitment to the Battery World Aussie Racing Cars Series continues to enable us to not only power a genuine Australian motorsport category with Yuasa as our official battery, but also allows us to further connect our stores and the entire Battery World family with our passionate customer base.

“I am already counting down the days until we are all back on track at the iconic Mount Panorama Circuit in February, for what will be another historic year of racing.”
