The Repco Supercars Championship makes it's annual journey across to New Zealand for the ITM Taupō Super 440 this weekend. The battle for the Jason Richards Memorial Trophy begins in the first leg of the inaugural ITM New Zealand Double Header, with festivities kicking off through the week. Here's everything you need to know about this year's event.
1. Track to Town

Track to Town will once again return to the Taupō streets to welcome back Supercars into town. It all starts at 3:15 PM on Thursday, April 9 at Tapuaeharuru Reserve, where fans will be able to experience the powerful Pōwhiri, the traditional Māori welcome ceremony.
There will also be a trophy handover, where the trophies - a carved by local master carver, Delani Brown with the engagement from the Tauhara Hapū collective - will be presented to the Supercars Management at Te Ātea.
All 24 cars will roar out of Taupō International Motorsport Park at 3:45 PM as they make their way to Roberts Street.

Once parked up, fans will be able to grab a selfie and an autograph at the Track to Town Signing Session from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, before the Supercars convoy returns back to Taupō International Motorsport Park.
Also happening all day Thursday is Cars by the Lake, powered by Repco and Armor All, featuring over 60 high-end show cars, this event is a must-see for car enthusiasts of all ages.
2. Signing sessions

Fans will also get a chance to meet their heroes through the weekend, with several signing sessions set to take place over the course of the event, both in Taupō for the Track to Town and at the circuit.
Thursday 9th April from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Track to Town Event (Te Ātea - Tapuaeharuru)
Saturday 11th April from 8:50 AM to 9:20 AM, Merchandise Alley
3. Driver's Parade

Ahead of the final 200km race of the weekend on Sunday, there will be a driver's parade. All 24 drivers will be paraded around at 9:35 AM on Sunday morning, just an hour before the final Boost Mobile Qualifying session of the weekend.

5. Track schedule

Supercars will have two Practice sessions on Friday, two Qualifying sessions & Races 8 & 9 on Saturday, with Qualifying (Race 10), Top Ten Shootout and Race 10 capping off the weekend on Sunday.
There is also plenty of racing from our support categories, with Toyota 86 Championship New Zealand, Central Muscle Cars and TA2 NZ appearing throughout the weekend.
6. Parking & Traffic restrictions

Complementary car parking will be available on the Taupō Gliding Airstrip.
