PremiAir Racing first appeared on the Supercars scene in 2022, after buying out the short-lived Team Sydney operation.

There have been signs of promise over the last two years, with the team claiming a maiden pole position, podium, and Bathurst podium all courtesy of James Golding.

Now, the team will run rookie Jayden Ojeda and the returning Declan Fraser in 2026, with the high-profile acquisition of Roland Dane as Team Principal a statement of intent.

Spearheaded by successful businessman and Managing Director of PremiAir Hire Peter Xiberras, PremiAir Racing is also a powerhouse in the Australian Top Fuel drag racing scene.

The squad finished ninth in the teams' order in 2023, before the team went to new heights in 2024.

It paid dividends on the Golding side of the garage, with the Victorian taking a first Supercars pole at Hidden Valley, before combining with David Russell to finish third in the Sandown 500.

Golding finished seventh overall, which could have been as high as fifth in what was a tight end to the season.

The signing of Richie Stanaway offered plenty of promise, but after a disappointing campaign he was replaced by Ojeda for the final two rounds to give the Sydneysider a headstart on his rookie season.

Golding's season was highlighted by being first across the line at Bathurst, only to be reclassified third after receiving a five-second penalty late in the race.
