Team JELD-WEN is pleased to announce that Australian vehicle manufacturer Tomcar Australia has joined the team as a supporting partner for the remainder of 2014 and beyond.

As a part of the arrangement, Tomcar has provided one of their unique TM2 off-road, all-terrain vehicles to be utilised as CS Racing's official race event transportation, and their logo will feature prominently on the C-pillar of the #18 Ford V8 Supercar from the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 onwards.

Tomcar Australia, one of Australia's only vehicle manufacturers, are based in Oakleigh, Victoria and produce a vehicle renowned for its toughness and ability in the harshest conditions - a vehicle to take you anywhere and back again.

The Tomcar has now been in continual active development for over twenty years, and successfully serves numerous military and security forces in conflict zones across the world.

Tomcar Australia CEO David Brim says that the company is excited to be entering the sport of V8 Supercars.

"Tomcar Australia is excited to be supporting the dynamic CS Racing team by providing a Tomcar for use as their official pit vehicle. It will bring us great exposure at the V8 events and as an Australian car-maker, are proud to be associated with such an iconic Australian racing series," Brim said.

Charlie Schwerkolt, owner of CS Racing, says that he is pleased to have a unique brand and product such as Tomcar joining the team.

"It's always a pleasure when you can introduce a brand to V8 Supercars sponsorship, and particularly pleasing when it's an Australian company, who are providing jobs and supporting manufacturing in Australia. We're very excited to have a Tomcar on the fleet, and to be representing their great product at our events," said Schwerkolt.
