Team 18 introduces new chassis for Anton De Pasquale
Chassis T18-004 nearing completion at Team 18's Melbourne base
David Reynolds will continue in chassis T18-003
Team 18 has revealed it will introduce a brand-new Gen3 Chevrolet Camaro chassis for star recruit Anton De Pasquale for the 2025 Supercars season.
The fourth Gen3 Camaro built by the team, chassis T18-004, is nearing completion at Team 18's Mount Waverley headquarters.
T18-004 will take to the track for the first time on Thursday February 13 at a shakedown, before the season kicks off with the all-in pre-season test day at Sydney Motorsport Park on February 19.
Chassis T18-002, the DEWALT Camaro previously driven by Mark Winterbottom in 2023 and 2024, will transition to serve as the team’s spare car for the upcoming season.
David Reynolds, meanwhile, will begin the 2025 campaign behind the wheel of T18-003, the chassis he drove at the 2024 Gold Coast and Adelaide rounds.
Chassis T18-001, which Reynolds raced in the opening rounds of 2024, has been rested from active competition.
“It’s been a busy off-season for everyone at Team 18 as we’ve worked to prepare for 2025 alongside starting up in our new factory which is not far away," Team Principal Adrian Burgess said.
“Building a new car from the ground up is no small feat, but the team has done an incredible job ensuring Anton has a strong platform to start his journey with us. We’re excited to see what he can achieve in T18-004.
“Our focus has been on optimising every aspect of our operations heading into the new season, and the new chassis is a testament to that commitment.
“With the shakedown and livery launch just around the corner, we’re looking forward to hitting the ground running this season.”
Tickets for the season-opening round in Sydney, on February 21-23, are on sale now.
