Adjustments will be implemented to the Ford Mustang VSD for Gold Coast
Modifications include alterations to rear wing, side skirt, and front fascia elements
Primary aim is reducing drag, redistributing downforce to rear of Mustang
After a comprehensive evaluation conducted by Supercars, and in consultation with the Homologation Teams, it has been determined that adjustments will be implemented to the Ford Mustang Vehicle Specification Document in preparation for the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 event. These modifications include alterations to the rear wing, side skirt, and front fascia elements, with the primary aim of reducing drag, and redistributing downforce to the rear of the Mustang.
The 2023 Repco Supercars Championship resumes at the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 on October 27-29. Tickets to Queensland’s largest annual sporting event can be purchased via Supercars.com and Ticketek.

Along with the event’s two 250-kilometre races to be held across Saturday and Sunday, numerous support categories and on-track challenges will also take to the circuit across all three days.
