Tickford Racing is set to build a brand new Gen2-specification Ford Mustang Supercar, which could race in the 2025 Dunlop Series.

Tickford has an engineering arm alongside its race team, and also runs three Ford Mustangs in the Dunlop Series.

The Ford team's operations are spearheaded by its two main game entries, currently raced by Cam Waters and Thomas Randle.

In 2022, the team purchased an ex-Garry Rogers Motorsport Commodore chassis, and rebuilt it as a Mustang for use in the Dunlop Series.

Tickford is set to commence the build of the new Gen2 Ford, having acquired tubing from chassis builder PACE Innovations.

Queensland-based PACE built the team's new Gen3 cars, which debuted in the Repco Supercars Championship last year.

"We’re excited to announce that we’re building a new Gen2 Supercar for sale," the team said.

"You’ll be getting a high-performing vehicle built by a team with unmatched experience, quality, and craftsmanship.

"Work directly with us during the build phase and enjoy the peace of mind of ongoing repairs and servicing if needed."

The 2024 Dunlop Series will resume in Bathurst on October 10-13.
