BRT throws support behind Lochie Dalton's Supercars promotion
Dalton has emerged as one of hottest prospects on Supercars ladder
Tasmanian jumped from Tickford to BRT, has locked in Erebus co-drive
Blanchard Racing Team is determined to clear rising star Lochie Dalton's path to the main game in 2027.
Dalton currently leads the DUNLOP Super2 Series for BRT after winning the final race — and the round on countback — in Sydney last month.
Amid a new wave of young talent, Dalton is top of the tree for young drivers looking to break into the Repco Supercars Championship.
Dalton moved from Tickford Racing to BRT in 2026, and has already locked in a primary Ryco Enduro Cup campaign with Erebus Motorsport.
With James Golding locked down and Aaron Cameron on track to win renewal, BRT is unlikely to be the team to take Dalton next season. However, BRT is determined to make sure Dalton makes the best impression.

“He's an incredible talent. He's definitely underrated and deserves a seat in main game,” Harrington told Supercars.com.
"So our full focus is doing whatever we can to give him the car to perform, because we know he can do that. We’ve seen that already.
“Next year we are probably not going to have an available seat for him, but wherever he goes we'll try and support him to get into main game because he's incredibly talented.”
Dalton made his Supercars debut in a Tickford wildcard in 2024, and contested last year's enduros with eventual Super2 champion and Dick Johnson Racing recruit Rylan Gray.
One by one, rising stars scored main game seats, but Dalton repeatedly missed out.
Should be blaze to the Super2 title this year, Dalton could be an irresistible talent in the driver market, and would have BRT to thank should he make it.
“It’s just a shame he hasn't obviously got there yet, but it’s our goal is to help him get there," Harrington continued.
“Whatever we can do and support him, we’ll do it. From a team and operational standpoint, we have to give him a fast car and make sure that he can achieve what he needs to this year."
Dalton will resume his Super2 campaign in Darwin in June.
