Revamped Dunlop Super2 Series calendar revealed for 2026

The Dunlop Super2 Series is set to embark on a revamped calendar around Australia in 2026, headlined by a maiden trip to Hidden Valley Raceway in Darwin.

Announced alongside the expanded 14-round calendar for the Repco Supercars Championship next year, only half of the venues that featured this year remain for 2026 calendar.

Tasmania, Townsville, and Ipswich all drop off the calendar at the end of the year, and are replaced by Darwin, Perth, and Sandown.

Much like 2025, the season begins alongside the Supercars season opener at the Sydney 500 from February 20-22.

Then comes the development series' maiden trip to the Top End on June 19-21, with Darwin set to become the 17th different venue to host a round of the Super2 Series.

Hidden Valley also becomes the first brand-new Super2 venue since the Newcastle Street Circuit made it's debut in the 2017 season finale.

Following Darwin is Perth, which returns from a one-year hiatus on July 31-August 2, before the traditional trip to Mount Panorama at the Repco Bathurst 1000 from October 8-11.

Bathurst will fall a round earlier next year, accommodating a return to the Penrite Oil Sandown 500 from November 13-15, before the bp Adelaide Grand Final will once again host the sixth and final round from December 3-6.

The Dunlop Super2 Series has again proven to be the best proving ground for the next generation of Supercars stars, as proven by several of the category's stars exploits in the main game.

Reigning Super2 champion Zach Bates starred in his Triple Eight wildcard program, qualifying fifth on debut in Ipswich and claiming a top 10 in his first-ever start at the Repco Bathurst 1000.

Jobe Stewart went within five laps of claiming a shock Bathurst win on debut alongside former Super2 star Cooper Murray at Erebus, and has been rewarded with a Supercars graduation for next year.

Triple Eight driver Jackson Walls, who won Round 4 at Ipswich, will also graduate to the main game next year in SCT Motorsport's Triple Eight Mustang.

The 2025 Dunlop Super2 Series will conclude at the bp Adelaide Grand Final on November 27-30. Tickets for the event are on sale now.
