Cam Waters has powered to a brilliant Sunday pole at the NTI Townsville 500, putting a big margin on the field to defeat Brodie Kostecki.
Waters and Kostecki will share the front row, with Saturday winner Matt Payne and Toyota star Ryan Wood forming an all-Kiwi second row.
Kai Allen and Chaz Mostert are just behind, with Broc Feeney seventh. Feeney will launch 12 positions ahead of teammate Will Brown, who was left seething after a struggle to 19th.
