Pre-Ryco Enduro Cup test underway at Queensland Raceway
Tuesday test is the only official pre-Ryco Enduro Cup hit out
AirTouch 500 at The Bend commences on Friday September 11
The 2026 pre-Ryco Enduro Cup test day has kicked off at Queensland Raceway, with Rylan Gray quickest through the opening laps.
A field of 26 cars and 52 drivers are on track in Ipswich on Tuesday, ahead of the all-important AirTouch 500 at The Bend and Repco Bathurst 1000.
Tuesday is the only official pre-Ryco Enduro Cup hit out before the year's longest races, which will decide the order for the 2026 Repco Supercars Finals Series.
Through the opening 10 minutes, Cameron had his #3 LIQUI MOLY BLAHST Ford on top with a 1:09.7240s, ahead of Cam Waters, Brodie Kostecki, Ryan Wood and Kai Allen.
After a round of stops, Le Brocq put his #4 Sherrin Rentals Camaro on top with a 1:09.6700s, before Gray moved the number to a 1:09.6190s at the 15-minute mark in his #38 Shell V-Power Ford. Kostecki made it a Shell V-Power one-two at the 20 minute mark.
Tuesday isn't about lap times, though. Rather, it's a chance to get crucial mileage for co-drivers, who will step into the saddle at The Bend and Bathurst.
Teams will also get a chance to bed in enduro pit stop processes.
The 24 car full-time grid is joined at The Bend by the #5 Tickford and #15 Team 18 wildcard entries, while the Garry Rogers Motorsport wildcard will test in coming weeks.
Results from the day will be available on Supercars.com.
Supercars return to racing in South Australia for the Airtouch 500 at The Bend on September 11-13, followed by Australia’s Great Race, the Repco Bathurst 1000.
Tickets for all Supercars events are available through Supercars.com.
