Tickford Racing star Thomas Randle clinches Bathurst 6 Hour victory
Tickford star joins Chaz Mostert, Shane van Gisbergen as Supercars winners
Supercars season resumes in New Zealand on April 10-12
Thomas Randle has set himself up for New Zealand in the best possible way with a Bathurst enduro victory.
The Tickford Racing star partnered Kavich brothers Ben and Michael to win Sunday's Bathurst 6 Hour following a late race penalty for Supercars rival Cameron Hill.
Randle became just the third active Supercars driver to win the race, after Chaz Mostert (2016) and Shane van Gisbergen (2021).
Brad Jones Racing driver Hill passed Randle on the penultimate lap of the race, but was penalised over falling short of the compulsory pit stop time.
Hill was relegated to fifth, delivering victory to Randle, who atoned for a Bathurst 12 Hour crash earlier this year.
It was also a first win for the Kavich brothers, who finally won at Mount Panorama after contesting all 10 editions of the Bathurst 6 Hour.
It was still an impressive drive by 2022 winner Hill, who was a late substitution for Cameron Crick.
A day earlier, Randle put down a late flyer to claim pole for the race, which was headlined by chaos, crashes and Safety Cars.
The 2026 Repco Supercars Championship resumes at the ITM NZ Double Header from the upcoming ITM Taupō Super 440.
Supercars returns to the Mountain for the Repco Bathurst 1000 on October 8-11.
