Supercars races on each day of February 20-22 event

Supercars has confirmed the on-track schedule for next month’s Sydney 500, which will open the 2026 Repco Supercars Championship on February 20-22 at Sydney Motorsport Park.
The blockbusting event kicks off the highly-anticipated 2026 season, featuring an expanded 14-event, 37-race calendar, and the debut of the all-new Toyota GR Supra Supercar.
Supercars will hold its same race format as 2025, with a race each day of the event; a 100-kilometre race on Friday, and 200 kilometre races on Saturday and Sunday.
New for 2026, Friday of the Sydney 500 will be free to attend for fans of all ages. Fans only need to register for a Free Friday ticket via Supercars.com to access a complimentary ticket to see the opening race of the 2026 season taking place as the sun sets on the Eastern Creek circuit.
Saturday’s race under the lights will be followed by the return of Party in the Pit, where Aussie rock icons Jet will take to the stage on Pit Straight just minutes after the chequered flag.
Ford star Cam Waters swept the 2025 Sydney 500, which included a stunning photo finish win over Broc Feeney in the Saturday night hit out under the lights last year.
There will be plenty of firsts at next month’s event, highlighted by the Supra’s competitive debut in the Championship.
Reigning Supercars champion Chaz Mostert begins his title defence and is expected to debut the #1 on his Walkinshaw Andretti United Toyota, while powerhouse Triple Eight Race Engineering makes its sensational switch to Ford official, swapping from Chevrolet Camaros to Mustangs.
Five rookies also make their full-time debut in what will be the youngest field of drivers in Supercars history, with Zach Bates, Rylan Gray, Jayden Ojeda, Jobe Stewart, and Jackson Walls kick starting their first full seasons in the main game.
The event will also be the season-opener for the Super2 Series, with a field of hungry young drivers ready to continue their path to graduating to the Repco Supercars Championship.
The Toyota GAZOO Racing Australia GR Cup will also be in action, along with fellow popular support categories V8 SuperUtes and Touring Car Masters.

The 2026 season opener will be broadcast live on Foxtel and the Seven Network, with live streaming available on Kayo and 7plus.
