The 2026 Repco Bathurst 1000 field is arguably the most competitive and wide open ever assembled.
Only six pairings carry over from the 2025 race, which was won by Matt Payne and Garth Tander. Will Davison partners Payne, with Tander retiring.
A total of 26 cars — 11 Fords, 10 Chevrolets and five Toyotas — will tackle the 2026 Great Race.
Grove Racing, Triple Eight, Walkinshaw TWG Racing, Tickford Racing, Dick Johnson Racing, Erebus Motorsport have all won the race before, as has the returning Garry Rogers Motorsport.
