Brodie Kostecki has increased his lead at the head of the Larry Perkins Trophy standings after claiming his second win in as many days in Melbourne.
The DJR driver has picked up 155 of a possible 160 points this weekend, only missing five bonus points for today's fastest lap, which went to Kai Allen.
With two runner-up finishes, Matt Payne provisionally holds down second in the Larry Perkins Trophy standings, however extended his championship lead over Broc Feeney to 30 points.
The two Ford drivers have emerged as the key contenders for this year's Larry Perkins Trophy, with Ryan Wood in third some 47 points behind having claimed Toyota's first ever Supercars podium.
The big losers today were Red Bull Ampol Racing pairing Broc Feeney and Will Brown, who both dropped big points after getting caught up in several skirmishes.
Having been 17 points off leader Kostecki heading into today, Feeney is now level with Wood after finishing seventh, whilst Brown had a disastrous and aggressive run to 21st.
On-track action tomorrow begins with back-to-back Boost Mobile Qualifying sessions at 9:00am and 9:22am, before Race 6 of the 2026 Repco Supercars Championship begins at 5:40pm local time.
