Matt Payne claimed his first pole of 2026 in Boost Mobile Qualifying for Race 5 tomorrow afternoon at the Melbourne SuperSprint.
The reigning Bathurst champion pipped Race 4 polesitter Brodie Kostecki by just 0.0323s, making for an all-Ford front row tomorrow afternoon.
Behind them will be the Walkinshaw TWG Racing Toyotas, with Ryan Wood claiming the Japanese make's best qualifying result in third, and reigning Supercars champion Chaz Mostert in fourth.
